Prochem has been family-owned-and-operated in Mackay for over two decades by the Colvin family.
After managing Prochem Agencies Pty Ltd, John Colvin purchased shares in the company and within three years took full ownership. John has been involved in the resource sector for over 30 years working on the east and west coast, open cut and underground operations.
Following industry demand, we formed Prochem Haulage Pty Ltd to provide specialised transport & logistic haulage services within Central Queensland.
We are proud to be an Australian owned and operated business providing services for the resource, industrial and transport sectors.
As we have expanded our services over the years we have brought all facets of our business under the one umbrella – Prochem Group of Companies.

Prochem’s General Manager is Ben Colvin, John and Selina’s eldest son. Ben is a qualified MEM Diesel Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Truck Mechanic and Auto Electrician.
